Introduction to Agricultural Drone Use
In this seminar, watch a drone demonstration (weather permitting) over an actual crop field, then spend time in a classroom with an expert in the field to learn what agricultural use of drones means, what they can and cannot do, and what it takes to fly them legally.

Learning the three fundamental steps in crocheting (chain, basic stitches, and turning) will allow you to begin just about any project. We’ll start by making small squares with varying stitches (single, double, half double, and triple). Then you will learn how to sew them together at the end to make a larger project on your own or take what you learn and begin your first scarf or blacket. The basics of pattern reading will also be reviewed. Supplies: 1 skein of medium (#4) weight yarn and crochet hook. Choose hook size recommended on yarn package.

Due to popular demand, this class has been extended to four sessions. Make clay pieces (pots, boxes, bells, vases) during the first two sessions. Then move to the new Ceramics Park 10 miles north of Burlington for glazing and the all-day firing (come when you can) on the last day. Glazing in typical black and white or Raku reds and greens - reducing in pine needles, resulting in iridescent color accented by smoke. Amazing results! Minimum age is 16, but 14 and 15 year-olds will be accepted if a parent is also enrolled.
